CCSAS’s Coturniculture program focuses on more than just the development of skills and job opportunities: our holistic approach empowers families with the confidence and sense of hope that they can ultimately build a viable and self-sufficient future, free of ongoing subsidies or donor funds.
However, to achieve this mission and help break the cycle of poverty among the poorest communities, some simple but life-sustaining catalysts are required to establish our Coturnicola families with health and nutrition, and viable cash flows, to build a sustainable quail-egg-based microenterprise.
Research has shown that if children up to age 5 can get a balanced diet of eight quail eggs, one green vegetable and one red vegetable in addition to their basic diet of porridge, they are 60% more likely to develop mentally and physically and break the cycle of poverty they are in.
That’s why CCSAS is committed to ensuring that, in addition to the knowledge transfer that takes place, each of our Coturnicola households receives the materials necessary to handle 150, 600 or 900 with the bird food for a month, vegetable seeds and a young fruit tree. That’s why our approach is defined to produce protein more efficiently, for a family or a small community.
You can purchase a quail egg production starter kit, which creates a sustainable source of nutrition for your dependents and breaks the cycle of rural poverty.
You can purchase a kit for 150 quails and 15-day feed for $1,000,000 COP*. You can buy a kit for 600 quails and 15-day feed for $4,000,000 COP. You can buy a kit for 900 quails and 15-day feed for $6,000,000 COP. *3500 COP = 1 USD
Audited, Authentic And Responsible
All contributions made to the work of Coturnicola Colombiana SAS to give the poorest a new sense of hope and the potential for a sweeter tomorrow through a viable and self-sufficient coturnicola business are independently audited.
The donor chooses the family or families to which he or she wants to make the donation and informs Coturnicola Colombiana. While Coturnicola gets a company to audit the donation, it will be the donor who does it.
Coturnicola Colombiana will be in charge of providing technical, financial, marketing and sales assistance to each beneficiary family.
The beneficiaries only receive one contribution, they must first demonstrate their commitment. A Coturniculturist only receives a KIT once they have successfully completed Level 1 of the training and made a shed or place where they will house the modules for the quails.
The Coturniculturists who have an efficient management of their KIT, will be able to get more KIT to guarantee that their family business grows.
Thank you for considering making a difference and giving a unique hand to a rural family, instead of a long term help.
